Mipolam Symbioz from Gerflor is a homogenous sheet vinyl floor covering suited for heavy foot traffic areas and contains more than 75 percent renewable raw materials with a bio-based plasticizer made from grain residues like wheat and corn. Its composition is designed to give way to 40 times lower VOC emissions set by European environmental standards and comes with a new patented micro structured, cross coat polymer surface treatment called Evercare. This surface treatment provides the ultimate protection against micro scratching, stains and chemicals inherent in healthcare environments, according to the company.

Available in 11 bright colors and 15 neutrals, the flooring is designed to be 20 percent lighter than standard homogenous products and reduces water and cleanser maintenance by 55 percent.
