Dennis Rittle

Dr. Dennis Rittle is the new president of Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kan. Rittle previously served as provost and executive vice president of learning at Ozarka College in Melbourne, Ark. He began his higher education career in 1995, earning a Ph.D. in organizational leadership with a major in human resource development from the School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship at Regent University. Rittle has served on the staff of the Kansas Board of Regents where he aligned technical curriculum for all public postsecondary institutions across the state. He is also a former dean of academic affairs for Brown Mackie College and served as a technical advancement director at Butler Community College. In addition, Rittle served as a program director, instructor, and curriculum writer for the Community College of the Air Force and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
