Amber M. Gillen

Stalco Construction has promoted Amber M. Gillen to project manager. Gillen joined Stalco as an assistant project manager in 2012 and has since managed several significant health care projects in the New York area. Gillen’s responsibilities include complete project management in pre-construction, delivery and close-out phases. She manages value engineering and constructability analysis, budgets, development of subcontractor bid packages, construction quality and schedules, and post-construction client support. As project manager, Gillen currently manages the $3 million, 38,000-square-foot Nassau University Medical Center Primary Care Center in East Meadow, N.Y. She had previously served as assistant director of hospital construction at the Stony Brook University Hospital, and as a project manager and assistant project manager at Wright & Company and Racanelli Construction. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in sociology and education from SUNY Stony Brook.
