Polyfab RELEASES NEW Colors

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — Polyfab USA, a supplier of shade-structure textiles, announced the addition of three new colors to its fabric line.

The company, which recently expanded beyond its Australian headquarters with a new distribution center in California, unveiled a red polytex fabric specifically for playground areas.

Steve Morenberg, national sales and marketing manager for Polyfab, says red is a popular color requested by customers, but it has drawbacks. It is subject to fading more than other colors, so Polyfab’s 10-year UV warrant protects only against loss of strength, not fading.

Two additional colors, inspired by the ambiance of sidewalk cafes, will be released together under the name Café series. Cappuccino offers a “creamy beige confection,” while Café Noir features a “bold and hearty dark-brown brew,” according to the company.

The Café series fabrics are available in polytex (seven ounces per square yard) and comtex (10 ounces per square yard). Both fabrics are fire-rated and designed for large tension-membrane structures.
